Obtain or Exchange an Adult Passport Abroad
Citizens of the Republic of Armenia are eligible to obtain an Armenian passport regardless of age. The passport serves as an official document confirming identity and citizenship. It is intended for travel abroad, return to Armenia, and use as an identification document within the country.
To obtain or exchange a passport abroad, it is necessary to visit the relevant Armenian Embassy or Consulate in the country of residence, with an appointment scheduled in advance. If visiting the embassy or consulate in person is not possible, identity verification may be conducted remotely via video call.
When scheduling an appointment, the personal details of the individual attending the appointment in person must be provided.
