• Select the website of the Embassy of the country where the application will be submitted.
• On the left side of the page, click the “Book an appointment” button.
• In the pop-up window, choose “Issue of passport (exchange)"
• Select the most convenient date and time from the available options.
• Fill in the personal information on the next page and confirm the appointment.

Requirements

To obtain or exchange an Armenian passport, it is necessary to:

• Be registered in the State Population Registry of the Republic of Armenia.

Required Documents

It is necessary to submit to the relevant RA embassy or consular office:

• Application for a passport
• 4 photos measuring 35x45 mm
• In the case of male citizens - a military record book and copies of all its pages, a certificate of military registration, or a document on deferment and its copy
• A receipt for payment of state duty

Payment Amount and Procedure

The fee for obtaining a passport is 65,000 AMD. Payment must be made online.

Payment can also be made in Armenian drams (AMD).

Attention
Ethnic Armenian foreign citizens or Armenian citizens living in a location where a state of emergency has been declared—posing a threat to their life or health—are exempt from paying the state fee when obtaining or exchanging an Armenian passport in foreign countries.

Delivery Time and Procedure

The passport is issued within 2-3 months after submitting the application. To receive it, a visit to the relevant Embassy or Consulate is required.
