Obtaining a certificate of not being recognized as incapacitated or having limited capacity

This document confirms that, at the time of application, there is no legally binding act by the courts of the Republic of Armenia recognizing the applicant as incapacitated or having limited capacity. The certificate is provided by the Judicial Department of the Republic of Armenia.

How to apply

To obtain the certificate, it is necessary to apply in person to the Judicial Department of the Republic of Armenia (17 Koryun St, Yerevan; Phone: +37410 511-776; [email protected]).


Required Documents

To receive the certificate, you must submit a copy of your identification document along with the application, specifying your:

  • first name and last name,
  • address,
  • phone number.


Payment amount and procedure

The certificate is provided free of charge.


Processing time and procedure

The certificate confirming that you have not been recognized as incapacitated or having limited capacity is provided within 5 working days after submitting the application.

The certificate is issued only in cases where the applicant has not been recognized as incapacitated or having limited capacity by a judicial act.
