Obtain a Taxpayer Identification Number (TIN)
The taxpayer identification number is a unique identification number assigned to each taxpayer. It is issued by the State Revenue Committee of Armenia.
You can obtain a Taxpayer Identification Number (TIN) online through the following options:

If you have "YesEm" identification, through the personal page in the Unified System of Electronic Services for Individuals (in a few steps and immediately),

By registering in the e-request system (note that you can also access the system using "YesEm" identification).
To register on the e-request platform, after clicking the "Continue" button:
- Click the "Login" button in the top-right corner of the page, then go to the "Register Now" link at the bottom of the page.
- Select your citizenship, then fill in the required details.
- Enter the code sent to your email address, followed by the code sent to your mobile phone.
- Create a password and confirm it.
After registering on the platform, to obtain a TIN, you need to:
- Log into the platform by entering your email address and password.
- Click the "Submit application, inquiry, or complaint" button.
- In the pop-up window, select the "Application" option.
- Choose the applicant type as "Individual."
- On the next page, select the relevant government body to address your application to (choose the State Revenue Committee).
- Attach the completed and signed TIN application, a copy of your ID document (passport or ID card), and your Public Services Number (PSN).
- Click the "Next" button.
Non-residents (Armenians living abroad) and foreign citizens living in Armenia must follow the same steps on the platform and submit the application form for non-residents, attaching the required documents.
You can track the progress of your inquiry using the control code provided in your profile.
Requirements
To obtain a taxpayer identification number (TIN), you should have a Public Services Number (PSN, also called Social Services Number) or the number on the certificate stating that you do not have a PSN.
Required documents
To obtain a taxpayer identification number (TIN), you need to provide:
- passport or ID card,
- Public Services Number (PSN, also called Social Services Number),
- if you do not have a PSN (Public or Social Services Number), the number of the certificate stating that you do not have one.
Delivery period and procedure

If applying through the personal page of the Unified System of Electronic Services for Individuals, the TIN will be issued immediately and can be viewed on the personal page.

If applying through the e-request platform, the TIN will be sent to the applicant’s email address within 1 working day after the application is submitted.
