Register the childbirth and get a birth certificate

The birth of every child born in the Republic of Armenia must be officially registered. Ater the birth registration, a birth certificate is issued.

You can also get a duplicate of the birth certificate online if necessary (including duplicates of paper birth certificates issued before 2021).

You need digital identification to apply for this service.

After clicking the "Continue" button, you must։

Fill in the required details on the "Applicant page".
Confirm your marital status.
On the next page, confirm the automatically attached medical birth certificate.
Fill in the child's details and the address where the child will be registered.
If you wish to apply for a lump-sum allowance, complete the relevant fields.
Review the information you have entered and submit the application.

Delivery period and procedure

The birth certificate of the child will be sent to the applicant's email within 1 hour. You can also download it in the "Applications" section of the personal account after the identification.
