Register a Birth and Get a Birth Certificate

Every baby born in Armenia must be registered. After the birth registration, a birth certificate is issued.

You can also get a duplicate of the birth certificate online if necessary (including duplicates of paper birth certificates issued before 2021).

You need digital identification to apply for this service.

Fill in the required details on the "Applicant page".
Enter the medical birth certificate number (the childbirth hospital issues the medical certificate).
Fill in the child's details on the following page.
Confirm the child's registration.
If you wish to apply for a lump-sum allowance, complete the relevant fields.
Verify the information you have entered and submit the application.

Delivery Period and Procedure

The birth certificate will be sent to the applicant's email within 1 hour. It can also be downloaded from the "Applications" section of the personal account.
