Register as a jobseeker

Anyone who is unemployed or has lost their job can apply for unemployment status and register as a jobseeker. Registered jobseekers receive notifications about job vacancies that match their professional qualifications.

Employed individuals looking for a new job can also register and receive updates on available job openings.

To register, you need to visit the Territorial Employment Center


Requirements

To register as a jobseeker, unemployment status must first be obtained at the Territorial Employment Center. Those already employed can apply directly as jobseekers without obtaining unemployment status.


Required documents

The following documents must be submitted to the Territorial Employment Center:

  • A written application with contact details (phone number, email address)
  • Identification card or passport
  • If no ID card is available, a State Register certificate or, if unavailable, a social card
  • Employment book or other documents confirming work experience
  • If available, a university diploma or a document confirming professional qualifications
  • For men, military service book
  • For foreign citizens, residence card
  • For stateless persons, residence certificate
  • For refugees, a refugee certificate


Delivery period and procedure

Registration as a jobseeker and confirmation of unemployment status will be completed within 5 working days after the submission of all required documents.

Once the unemployment status is obtained, the Territorial Employment Center will provide job opportunities that match the person’s professional qualifications. The center will also provide a referral to organizations with available vacancies.

Individuals seeking new jobs will also be notified about available vacancies.
