Security and Protection

The purpose of military registration is to ensure the participation of RA citizens in the defense of the Republic of Armenia.

The following individuals are required to complete military registration:

Male citizens who turn 16 during the year
Citizens who have not completed military registration by the age of 27 (for reserve officers, by the age of 35)
Male citizens who have acquired RA citizenship

Currently, this service is available only in person. We are working on the online version.

Who Can Apply?

Citizens of the Republic of Armenia

To complete military registration, you must:

Receive a registration ticket from the passport department and submit it to the military registration office
Pass a medical examination according to the list provided by the military registration office
Register at the military registration office and submit the registration form received at the military registration office to the Passport and Visa Department to receive a passport.

This process usually takes several days.
