Receive free and partially paid dental services
Socially vulnerable individuals and those in specific (special) groups can receive dental medical services guaranteed by the state, free of charge or under preferential conditions.
To receive free or partially subsidized dental care, visit a medical institution that provides dental services.
About the Program
Within the scope of this state-supported program, the following services are provided:
- Tooth extraction, treatment of pulpitis (inflammation of dental nerves and blood vessels),
- Treatment of periodontitis,
- Treatment of caries,
- Treatment of oral mucosal diseases in children under 18, full or partial removable denture plates, preparation, placement, and repair of dental crowns needed for prosthetics (once every 3 years).
Eligibility
You are eligible for free dental services if you are:
- A beneficiary of the family benefits system with a vulnerability score of 28.01 or higher,
- A person with a disability with severe functional limitations or a first-degree disability,
- A child under the age of 7,
- A child under 18 from a socially vulnerable or special group,
- A person of pre-conscription or conscription age,
- A person forcibly displaced from Nagorno-Karabakh.
You are eligible for subsidized dental services (with 65% covered by the state and 35% paid by the patient) if you are:
- A person with a disability with moderate or severe limitations (2nd or 3rd group),
- A participant in the Great Patriotic War,
- A woman of reproductive age during pregnancy, childbirth, or postpartum,
- A child under 18 without parental care, or a person aged 18–23 formerly in that group,
- A person aged 65 or older,
- Servicemembers and equivalent persons, their family members, family members of servicemembers who died while defending the Republic of Armenia or in the line of duty, and former servicemembers entitled to a military pension due to long-term service or disability,
- Rescue service employees and their family members, rescue workers released due to retirement or disability, family members of rescue workers who died in the line of duty,
- Detainees, arrestees, and convicted individuals,
- Beneficiaries of social protection institutions and temporary shelters,
- Repressed persons,
- Participants in the Chernobyl nuclear disaster cleanup,
- Victims of human trafficking (exploitation),
- Children (under 18) from families with a disabled family member,
- Children from large families (4 or more underage children),
- Children under 18, who are under continuous supervision,
- Children under 18 with a single parent,
- Asylum seekers and their family members,
- Members of the national teams of Olympic and Olympic-recognized sports of the Republic of Armenia.
Required Documents
To receive free or partially subsidized dental services, you must present:
- A passport or identification card,
- A Public Services Number (PSN),
- A valid document proving that you belong to one of the eligible socially vulnerable or special groups.
Payment Terms and Conditions
Dental services under this program may be provided free of charge or with partial co-payment.
In the case of co-payment, 65% of the total cost is covered by the state, and the beneficiary pays the remaining 35%.
