To book a visit, you will need:

• Visit www.roadpolice.am

• Click on the “Vehicle” button, which is located in the center of the screen

• In the first field of the opened window, select the preferred Registration Examination Department for registration, regardless of where the applicant is registered in the Republic of Armenia

• Select the “Does not require examination” field if the vehicle is already registered in the Republic of Armenia and has not been re-equipped

• Select the “Requires examination” field if the vehicle is being registered in the Republic of Armenia for the first time or has been re-equipped (re-equipment is considered a structural change to the vehicle, for example, the removal of components that affect traffic safety or the installation of unplanned parts)

• Indicate the type of registrant: individual or legal entity. Moreover, as a legal entity, you can register a maximum of 3 cars during one visit

• In the “Make” field, fill in the make of the car that needs to be registered

• Fill in the Public Services number (the 10-digit number indicated on the back of the identification card or the social card number)

• Fill in the phone number (it is necessary to take into account that to confirm the registration in the Registration Examination Department, the phone number filled in this field will be required)

• Click the “Register” button

After completing these steps, a message with the date and time of the visit will be sent to the specified phone number within one day.

Attention
Individuals with first or second-degree disabilities who are parties to a transaction are served out of turn in territorial registration and examination units, provided they have a document certifying their status.

Requirements to Be Submitted

To register a car, it is mandatory to be registered at an address in the Republic of Armenia.

Required Documents

When registering a vehicle, you must submit:

• Identity document

• A document confirming the legality of the purchase of the vehicle if its ownership is not registered with the Traffic Police

At the same time, when registering ownership of a vehicle, it is also necessary to submit:

• Transit or other registration numbers (if applicable)
• Documents confirming payment of legally established duties and fees
• A certificate of full fulfillment of property tax obligations

Payment Amount and Procedure

To register a car, you need to pay 23,000 AMD at local banks or in advance, which includes:

• 5,000 AMD for registration (payment account number: 900013150033)
• 6,000 AMD for registration certificate (technical passport) (payment account number: 900005016135)
• 12,000 AMD for license plates (payment account number: 900005016127)

If payments are made online, receipts confirming these payments, along with other documents, must be presented to the service center employee.

If you are unable to make a transfer to the specified account numbers in the banking application, you must select the "Transfer to state budget" option.
