Register the Home Ownership with Notarization
Home ownership can be registered at any notary's office. A transfer of ownership agreement is signed, for which notary fees and certification costs are payable. The buyer will receive the ownership certificate through the notary's office.
To have the transfer of home ownership notarized, both the buyer and seller must visit any notary's office.
Requirements
After notarizing the transfer of ownership, you must register the ownership with the State Cadastre Committee within 30 days.
Required Documents
It is necessary to submit:
- Passport or identification card (in the case of an authorized person, also a power of attorney)
- Home sales contract
- Unified reference
- Certificate of the right to purchase real estate
- Receipt of payment made for registration of ownership rights
- Receipt of payment for the cost of the home
Payment Amount and Procedure
A state fee of 5,000 AMD must be paid for registration, and the cost of the notarial certification service for the contract is 10,000-15,000 AMD.
Delivery Procedure and Payment
After submitting the documents, the buyer and seller will sign a bilateral transfer of ownership agreement at a notary's office, where it will be notarized. The contract must then be submitted to the State Cadastre Committee within 30 days for ownership registration and issuance of a certificate of ownership.
