To register for the theory exam, you must:

• Visit www.roadpolice.am
• Click on the “Driving License” button, which is located in the center of the screen
• In the opened window, select the preferred Registration and Examination Department where the applicant wants to take the theoretical exam, regardless of where in the Republic of Armenia he/she is registered.
  • Later, the applicant will take the practical exam at the same Registration and Examination Department where he/she took the theoretical exam
• Select the type of exam, in this case theoretical
• Fill in the public service number (PSN)
• Fill in the phone number
• Click on the “Register” button

After completing these steps and successfully enrolling, a notification will immediately appear on the screen.

Due to the workload of the preferred Registration and Examination Department, there may be a need to wait several days. At least the day before submitting the new driver's license application, another message regarding the exam date and time will be sent.

Payment Amount and Procedure

To participate in the theoretical exam, it is necessary to pay a state fee of 3,000 AMD.

Payment is made in one of the following ways:

• Through the E-payments system

• Via bank transfer to the RA State Budget account number: 900005163218. In the transfer purpose field, you should indicate “For passing each theoretical and practical qualification exam”

  • If you cannot transfer to this account number in the banking application, please select the “Transfer to State Budget” option.

Delivery Time and Procedure

After successfully passing the theory exam, you must also register and pass the practical exam within 12 months. If you fail to pass the practical exam after the specified period, you will need to take the theory exam again.
