Apply for Monthly Allowance for the Third and Subsequent Children
In order to improve the demographic situation and stimulate the birth rate, the state provides monthly support for the birth of the third and subsequent children.
The benefit is provided until the child reaches the age of six.
To receive the allowance, one must apply to any regional center of the Unified Social Service.
Requirements
Monthly allowance for the third and subsequent children is provided if:
- The parent of the child applying for support is a citizen of the Republic of Armenia
- As of the date of application, the parent and the newborn child are in the Republic of Armenia
- As of the date of application, the parent, the newborn child, and the children taken into account for determining the child's birth order are registered at the address of the place of residence in the Republic of Armenia, and the children are not in social protection institutions of the population.
Required Documents
To receive the allowance, you must submit an application.
If necessary, you should also submit:

The birth certificate of the child(ren) considered to determine the child's birth order if the state registration of the birth was carried out in another country.

A document confirming the right to financial support for the parent of the beneficiary child, or the child considered when determining their birth order, if the parents' marriage is not registered with civil status authorities, or if the marriage is registered on or after the child's birth date.
Amount of Support
The monthly allowance for the third and subsequent children is 50,000 AMD until the child turns 6 years old.
Delivery Period and Procedure
A decision to reject the application or grant assistance is made within 10 working days after receiving the application.
Within 10 working days after the application is approved, it is necessary to visit the bank with an identification document to receive the first month's allowance in person. Allowance for the second and subsequent months is provided by transfer to the applicant's bank account.
