Receive Support for Repaying a Gold-Collateral Loan as a Forcibly Displaced Person from Nagorno-Karabakh
Within the framework of the program, the Government of Armenia forgives the debts of forcibly displaced persons from Nagorno-Karabakh who, prior to September 19, 2023, had a consumer loan secured by gold in Armenian banks or credit organizations, provided that the loan amount does not exceed 2,500,000 AMD.
The following steps should be taken after clicking the "Continue" button:
To apply for the support program, you must first register on the Unified Electronic Inquiries Platform. To do this:
- Visit e-request.am
- Click the “Login” button in the top right corner of the page
- On the page that opens, click “Register Now” at the bottom
- Register either via “YesEm” identification or with your email address
- Select your citizenship, then fill in the required information
- Enter the code sent to your email address, then the code sent to your mobile phone
- Create and confirm your password
After Registering on the Platform, to apply for the support program:
- Log into the platform using Esim identification or by entering your email address and password
- Click the “Send an Inquiry, Request, or Complaint" box, then click the “Send” button
- On the page that opens, select the “Application” option
- Choose the applicant type: “Individual”
- Select the state body to which the application is addressed: “Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Armenia”
- Fill in the required application form, attach the necessary documents, and click “Next”
You can track the status of your application using the tracking code available in your personal account.
Eligibility Requirements
Only individuals forcibly displaced from Nagorno-Karabakh are eligible, provided that their total outstanding obligations in all banks and credit organizations as of December 29, 2023, do not exceed 2,500,000 AMD.
Required Documents
To receive support, attach a copy of your passport to your application.
Provision Timeline and Procedure
- Based on your application, the Ministry of Finance prepares a debt forgiveness agreement. A notification is sent to you via the contact details provided in the application, specifying the date and time to visit the Ministry of Finance.
- On the specified date, the applicant visits the Ministry, signs, and receives their copy of the debt forgiveness agreement.
- The Ministry then compiles and sends the signed agreements to the relevant financial institutions so that the collateral can be released.
- The applicant then receives an email notification indicating that they may now approach the financial institution to retrieve the released items.
