Acquiring a Certificate on the Public Services Number (PSN)
The Public Services Number (PSN) is a unique 10-digit numerical identifier assigned to։
- citizens of the Republic of Armenia,
- foreign nationals with residence rights in Armenia,
- stateless persons permanently residing in Armenia,
- refugees,
- foreigners legally present in the country.
The certificate confirming the Public Services Number is issued by all subdivisions of the Migration and Citizenship Service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs (MIA), including the main office.
After clicking the "Book a Visit" button, you need to:
- enter your email address and phone number, enter the code sent to your email, and click the "Next" button,
- select a convenient region or community, and in the "Visit Location" field, choose one of the suggested options,
- fill in the required personal information (first and last name must be entered as written in the passport).
- In the "Select Date and Time" window, choose the most suitable available date and time.
Requirements
You can request a certificate about Public Services Number (PSN) if:
- you are an Armenian citizen and do not have a social security card or PSN,
- your PSN is not mentioned in your ID card.
You can also request a certificate about PSN for a child under 16. The child's parent or legal representative (guardian or custodian) must request it.
Attention
To obtain a certificate about a child’s PSN, you must visit the passport department of the child’s place of registration.
Required Documents
To receive the certificate about PSN, you must present your passport and a copy of it.
For children under 16:
- birth certificate (if no RA passport is available) and the carbon copy thereof,
For a foreigner with a residence status in Armenia:
- the document certifying legal residence status in RA and the carbon copy thereof,
For a foreigner legally living in Armenia:
- the passport and the notarized translation thereof;
For a stateless person living in Armenia:
- the residence certificate issued by the competent authority of RA and the carbon copy thereof;
For a person with refugee status:
- the convention travel document and the carbon copy thereof;
Payment Amount
The PSN certificate is provided free of charge.
Delivery Period
The certificate is issued immediately. In case of online application, it is sent instantly to the provided email address and becomes available in the “Applications” section of the personal account after refreshing the page.
