An auction is held to obtain the priority right to use a "special" license plate in particular demand.

To obtain a "special" license plate, it is necessary to participate in the vote and, based on its results, form a list of license plates that will be put up for auction based on the vote results.

To register on the electronic auction platform, you need:

• Visit auction.mia.gov.am
• Select the "Login for individuals or legal entities" section
• Click the "Register" button at the bottom of the page
• Fill in the required data in the window that opens and create a password

To successfully complete the registration, a registration confirmation email will be sent to the specified email address.

After successfully logging into the system, you need to:

• Search and check the availability of a preferred license plate
• Vote for a preferred license plate
• Participate in the auction for a given license plate
• Bid the highest price
• Become the owner of the license plate

To participate in the preferred license plate auction, it is necessary to vote in favor of it. The license plates that receive the most votes participate in the auction.

Voters are notified in advance of the preferred license plate auction, and they are informed of the date and time of its holding.

During the auction, all participants bid for the license plate. The participant who bids the highest price receives the right to purchase the license plate.
