Starting from September 1, 2025, the driver’s license will also be available in digital format. While driving within the territory of Armenia, drivers may present their digital driver’s license without being required to carry the physical (plastic) license.

The new regulation allows drivers to present their license through a smartphone or another electronic device.

However, this option is valid only within the Republic of Armenia. To drive outside the country, drivers must have the plastic version of the license.

The digital license is available on the roadpolice.am platform. To access it, you need to have a verified account.
