Register a birth
The birth of every person born in the Republic of Armenia must be registered. A birth certificate is issued when the child's birth is registered.
If needed, you can also get a duplicate of the certificate online (including duplicates of paper certificates issued before 2021).

- Fill in the required details on the "Applicant's Page".
- Enter the certificate control number (a 16-character code made up of numbers and Latin letters) on the next page.
- Fill in the child's details on the following page.
- Confirm the child's registration.
- If you wish to apply for a one-time birth allowance, complete the relevant fields.
- Verify the information you have entered and submit the application.
Delivery Period and Procedure
The birth certificate will be sent to the applicant's email address within 1 working day. It can also be downloaded from the "Applications" section of the personal page.
