Requirements

To apply, the candidate must meet at least one of the following criteria:

• Have an education in economics, or
• Have a higher education degree and at least 18 months of professional work experience, or
• Have a general (complete) secondary education or secondary vocational education (technical school, college, etc.) and 3 years of professional work experience, or
• As of the application date, be employed in a public sector organization as a chief accountant.

Professional work includes accounting, financial, tax, auditing, economic-related activities, as well as positions such as methodologist, expert, controller, consultant, researcher, lecturer, or specialist in the mentioned fields.

Required Documents

To participate in the qualification exam, the candidate must first submit an application (the application form is provided on site and is also published here), attaching the following documents:

• A copy of the diploma or certificate of education,
• Documents certifying professional work experience (an extract or copy from the employment record book and/or a copy of the civil contract with a certificate of its execution),
• Two photos sized 3x4 cm,
• Receipt of payment of the state fee.

Payment Procedure and Amount

To take the accountant qualification exam, a state fee of 3,000 AMD must be paid.

In the transfer purpose field, indicate: "For acceptance of each exam for the document confirming auditor’s professional qualification." (If the bank app does not allow transfer to this account, please select "Transfer to state budget" option.)

Processing Time and Procedure

• Applications are reviewed within 5 working days from the date the required documents are submitted.
• Applicants are notified about the exam date, time, and location at least 7 working days before the exam.
• Exam results are reviewed within 18 working days after the exam, and a decision is made to grant or deny the qualification certificate.
• To receive the issued certificate, a visit to the Ministry of Finance of RA (address: Melik-Adamyan 1) is required.
