Requirements 

An application must meet the environmental impact assessment requirements and receive a positive conclusion.

Required Documents

To obtain a permission for geological research, the following documents are required:

• Application (both in paper and electronic form)
• Applicant's state registration number
• The required time frame for the work
• Information about financial and technical capacities and resources
• A reference containing information about actual stakeholders in the 5 days preceding the submission of the application.

Additionally, the application must include the geological research program, which should include:

• Objectives and timeframes for the work
• Analysis of results from previous geological studies conducted in the area to be studied
• Proposed methods, techniques, and approximate volumes of the work
• A description of the subsoil area where the study is to be conducted, and a site map with coordinates verified by a qualified person
• Information about the stakeholders in case there are any changes before the decision is made
• Necessary cartographic materials
• A positive conclusion from the environmental impact assessment (carried out by the Ministry)
• Payment receipt for state duties.

Delivery Period and Procedure

After submitting the application, it will be sent to the Environmental Impact Assessment and Expertise (EIA) within 10 days.

The EIA conclusion is provided within 40-80 working days. If the conclusion is positive, the Ministry will grant approval within 20 days and invite the applicant to validate the geological research contract within 10 days.

Payment Amount and Procedure

To obtain permission for geological research, a fee of 50,000 AMD is required. The payment can be made online or via bank transfer to account number 900005167136.
