To become a gas consumption subscriber, you must submit an application (provided on-site) in person at the regional gas service office, along with the required documents.  

Requirements

To subscribe, you must have a certificate of ownership or a certificate of the right to purchase the real estate. If the application is submitted by a tenant, a written consent from the property owner is required.

Required Documents

The application must be submitted together with the following documents:

• Passport or ID card
• Certificate of real estate ownership, or
• Certificate of the right to purchase the real estate
• In the case of a tenant: written consent from the property owner
  
  

Foreign citizens typically need:

• Passport
• Rental agreement or ownership certificate
• Occasionally, a prepaid deposit (mainly with internet providers)
  
  

Generally, foreigners can register utilities without restrictions.

Payment Amount and Procedure

The following payments must be made:

• Application fee: 10,000 AMD
• Fire safety service fee: 7,000 AMD
• Execution fee: 7,000 AMD (after gas connection works)
  
  

Attention
In addition to the above fees, payment is also required for gas pipes, necessary materials, and other components. The amount depends on the length of the piping.

Delivery period and Procedure

Within 7–10 business days after submitting the application, a gas inspector must conduct a site visit to take project measurements. The full subscription process takes up to 15 business days.

After the gas pipes are installed, the applicant signs the appropriate contract. Based on this contract, future utility payments for gas consumption are made. The payment code is usually the contract number or the subscriber’s phone number.
