Receive Support for Orchard Establishment
This programme provides support to people working in agriculture to develop horticulture. Support is given through interest rate subsidies on loans.
The support is aimed at:
- Establishing vineyards, intensive fruit orchards, and berry plantations,
- Installing modern irrigation systems and constructing or expanding water reservoirs,
- Implementing hail protection nets in perennial plantations,
- Cultivating non-traditional high-value crops (e.g., asparagus, Brussels sprouts, Chinese cabbage, zucchini, sweet corn, etc.).
To apply To get support, it is necessary to apply to a bank or credit organization (to view the English version use the browser's translation tool), pass a creditworthiness check, start orchard establishment activities, and send a report on completed work to the bank or credit organisation.
Requirements
To qualify for support, you must meet the requirements for both orchard establishment and activity organisation.
Types of Support
The programme provides partial interest rate compensation on loans for:
- Setting up an orchard on an area of 0.5 to 500 hectares and covering first-year maintenance costs. If the orchard is 0.5 hectares, one complete orchard per fruit species must be set up.
- Installing modern irrigation systems on at least 0.5 hectares
- Building or expanding water reservoirs up to 100,000 m³ on at least 0.5 hectares
- Adding hail protection nets on areas from 0.5 to 100 hectares
- Growing crops such as asparagus, leek, arugula, Brussels sprouts, Chinese cabbage, kohlrabi, kale, yellow or dark green zucchini, patisson, sweet corn, and legumes on an area of 1 to 30 hectares
Required Documents
To participate in the program, documents must be submitted to the bank or credit organization in 3 stages:
- For creditworthiness assessment,
- For obtaining the loan,
- After orchard establishment or system implementation to justify the completed activities.
