Receive housing provision as a serviceman or as a family member of a deceased or disabled serviceman
The program is aimed at the servicemen of the RA Ministry of Defense and their families. Within the framework of the program, the state provides:
- an apartment,
- a residential land plot.
Moreover, housing provision support is carried out through one of 3 methods:
- with the right of gratuitous use (residence),
- with the right of ownership,
- via an apartment purchase certificate.
To receive housing provision support, it is necessary to submit an application to the RA Ministry of Defense with the required documents.
Requirements
The following servicemen of the Ministry of Defense may apply for the program if they:
- were registered for housing provision but did not receive housing during their service,
- receive a military pension for long-term service,
- were recognized as unfit for military service due to health conditions,
- have reached the age limit for remaining in service,
- had their military position changed to a civil service position,
- had their military post cut (redundancy).

Methods of Support
Housing provision is carried out through one of three methods of support, according to which the applicant can acquire residential space as follows:
- with the right of gratuitous use (residence),
- with the right of ownership,
- via an apartment purchase certificate.
The conditions for providing each method of support are presented in the sections of the guide with the same names.
Required documents
To receive housing provision support, it is necessary to submit the following documents to the RA Ministry of Defense:
- a report on being included in the housing registration,
- a service reference (character reference) provided by the immediate commander (head),
- copies of passports (including the registration page) of the adult family members, the marriage or divorce certificate (if available), and birth certificates of minor children,
- a certificate of permanent registration for the last 5 years (from each address where the applicant has been registered) and a certificate of actual residence (if different from the registration),
- a copy of the property ownership certificate (or other document confirming ownership, such as a purchase contract or inheritance certificate), if the apartment belongs to the applicant,
- for residents of the disaster zone and refugees: a certificate regarding not having an apartment or not having received compensation (if applicable).
Amount of support
The amount of support is calculated based on the average market values of the preceding quarter, according to data from the State Committee of the Real Estate Cadastre of the RA. The number of rooms is determined by the number of family members.
Delivery period and procedure
Housing provision support is provided within 1 month after the application has been reviewed by the members of the commission.
