Apply for the Employment Program for Demobilized Unemployed Individuals
Within the framework of this program, support is provided to unemployed individuals who have participated in military operations or have been demobilized from compulsory military service. The goal is to help them acquire the professional skills and competencies required by employers to fill available vacancies.
To discuss individual cases and receive consultation, you need to visit the Territorial Center of the Unified Social Service (commonly known as Sotsap).
To use this service, you must visit the Regional Center of the Unified Social Service (also known as Sotsap) and present the required documents.
About the Program
The program is implemented in three directions:
1. Vocational Training (up to 5 months)
Beneficiaries receive:
- Reimbursement of tuition fees: up to 50,000 AMD per month
- Scholarship: 37,500 AMD per month (50% of the minimum wage) — this is only provided for the days the beneficiary attends training
After completing the training, the employer must sign a one-year employment contract with the beneficiary. In return, the employer receives up to 50,000 AMD per month as a tax reimbursement.
2. Internship
If the employer ensures that the beneficiary gains professional work experience, they receive:
- 75,000 AMD/month as wage reimbursement (equal to the minimum wage), and up to 25,000 AMD/month as tax reimbursement for the first 3 months,
- Up to 50,000 AMD/month as tax reimbursement for the next 9 months.
3. One-Time Compensation
The employer receives a one-time compensation of 300,000 AMD if they sign an employment contract of at least 1 year with the beneficiary.
Attention
A beneficiary can only participate once, and only in one of the three directions of support.
Eligibility Requirements
To apply for this program, the applicant must be an unemployed citizen who participated in the military operations initiated by Azerbaijan in 2016, 2020, or 2022, or was demobilized from compulsory military service after 2020.
Required Documents
To apply, submit the following documents to your Regional Employment Center:
- Passport or national ID card,
- If you do not have an ID card: Certificate from the State Population Register confirming your Public Services Number (PSN) or that you do not have one. If the certificate is unavailable, you should submit your social card,
- University diploma or a document verifying professional qualification, if available,
- Employment record book (if applicable), or other documents verifying work experience / archival certificates,
- Military service book,
- A written application with your contact details (phone number, email address)
