Receive treatment for Hepatitis C
Within the framework of the program, treatment is organized for patients with Hepatitis C, providing them with direct-acting antiviral medicine free of charge.
To receive the prescribed treatment, patients should visit an infectious disease or gastroenterology specialist at one of the following medical institutions:

About the Program
Through this program, medical care and medicines are provided free of charge to patients diagnosed with Hepatitis C.
Eligibility
Medical care and treatment are provided to:
- Patients over 12 years old diagnosed with Hepatitis C (positive qualitative PCR test for HCV).
- Patients with liver fibrosis stages 0–4, including cirrhosis (Child‑Pugh A, MELD < 20) – 12‑week treatment.
- Patients with liver cirrhosis (Child‑Pugh B or C, MELD < 20) – 24‑week treatment.
Required Tests Before Treatment
Patients must undergo and present results for:
- Qualitative PCR test confirming Hepatitis C virus (positive result).
- Liver fibrosis staging – elastography (FibroScan) and/or APRI and/or FIB‑4; for stages 3–4, AFP must also be determined.
- Complete blood count with differential, biochemical tests (total/direct bilirubin, ALT, AST, albumin, glucose, creatinine, prothrombin time/index/INR).
- HBsAg and/or anti‑HBc and anti‑HIV antibodies.
- Abdominal ultrasound.
Required Documents
To receive treatment for Hepatitis C, patients must submit:
- A valid ID document.
- Documents confirming the above‑mentioned laboratory and instrumental test results.
Provision Timeline and Procedure
The timelines and procedures for providing assistance are defined by the medical institutions.
