Requirements

The following individuals can apply for a "YesEm" Mobile ID SIM card:

  • Adult citizens of the Republic of Armenia,
  • Adults forcibly displaced from Nagorno-Karabakh who have received refugee status in Armenia,
  • Foreign citizens who possess an Armenian ID card.

Required Documents

  • ID card or refugee status certificate and passport (note that the presence of the ID card chip or PIN/PUK codes is not mandatory).
  • An active phone number registered in the applicant's name (if you do not have a phone number, you must acquire one).

Note
Please note that when replacing a physical SIM card, contacts stored on the previous card may be deleted. Therefore, you should save all phone numbers to your phone's memory or cloud storage in advance.

Payment Amount and Procedure

  • To obtain a "YesEm" Mobile ID SIM card, you must pay AMD 500 card re-issuance fee.
  • If purchasing a new SIM card, you must also pay the cost of the tariff plan according to the given operator's rates.

Delievery Period and Procedure

After following the mobile operator's instructions at the office, you must independently create a PIN code. This code will be used every time you identify yourself online or sign a document.

The PIN ensures the security of your personal data; therefore, it must not be shared with others. If your code becomes known to someone else, you must visit the operator's office with your passport to change it.

Once the Mobile ID SIM card is acquired, the electronic signature service will also become automatically available.
