Receiving Reimbursement for Preliminary and Secondary Vocational Education Tuition Fees
The goal of the program is to provide partial or full reimbursement of tuition fees to students pursuing preliminary and secondary vocational education.
To receive full or partial reimbursement of tuition fees, a student can apply to the educational institution where they are studying.
Eligibility Requirements
Students eligible for full reimbursement of tuition fees include those who:
- Are under 23 years old and have lost parental care;
- Have a 1st or 2nd degree disability;
- Have parents who became 1st or 2nd degree disabled during compulsory military service;
- Come from a family of a fallen soldier.
Students eligible for partial reimbursement of tuition fees include those who:
- Are socially vulnerable,
- Live in border communities,
- Have participated in military operations,
- Have two or more minor children,
- Are raised by a single parent.
Required Documents
To apply for partial or full reimbursement of tuition fees, the student must submit:
- An application,
- A document confirming their eligibility status.
Amount of Support
The tuition fee for preliminary and secondary vocational education is reimbursed by the state up to 70% of the total amount.
Timeline and Procedure
- Support is provided within 15 working days after the applications are reviewed.
- Each year, the Government of Armenia determines the number and amount of state scholarships based on the annual state budget allocation for higher educational institutions.
