Receive state-commissioned medical care and services
Through a government order, it is possible to access free and preferential medical care and services guaranteed by the state at healthcare organizations in the Republic of Armenia.
To benefit from this support program, you need to visit your local polyclinic and consult a therapist, family doctor, or pediatrician.
About the Program
Through state procurement, you can access free and partially subsidized medical care and services guaranteed by the state at healthcare institutions.
Eligibility Criteria
Beneficiaries eligible to receive healthcare services under the state procurement program include citizens belonging to the following groups:
- Recipients of family benefits with a vulnerability score of 28.01 or higher,
- Persons with disabilities with severe functional limitations,
- Persons with disabilities with moderate functional limitation,
- Persons with disabilities with mild functional limitations,
- Children under 18 years old,
- Participants of the Great Patriotic War and persons equated to them,
- Women of reproductive age during pregnancy, childbirth, and postpartum period (up to 42 days),
- Persons aged 18–23 who belong to the group of children without parental care,
- Individuals referred by the functional assessment commission for additional medical examinations,
- Persons of conscription age (eligible for hospital medical care and hospital examinations),
- Servicemembers and equivalent persons, their family members, family members of servicemembers who died defending the Republic of Armenia or in the line of duty, and former servicemembers entitled to military pensions due to long service or disability,
- Rescue service employees and their family members; rescue workers released due to retirement or disability; family members of rescue workers who died in service,
- Detainees, arrestees, and convicted individuals,
- Persons in nursing homes and temporary shelters for the homeless,
- Repressed persons,
- Participants in the Chernobyl nuclear disaster cleanup,
- Victims of human trafficking,
- Asylum seekers and their family members,
- Persons discharged from military service due to injury or illness who, upon functional assessment, are not recognized as persons with disabilities (eligible for hospital medical care and services within the individualized service plan prepared by the functional assessment commission),
- Persons discharged from military service due to deformity, injury, or illness incurred during service, within 3 months from the start of treatment and until referral for functional assessment,
- Members of the national teams of the Republic of Armenia’s Olympic and Olympic-recognized sports,
- Persons undergoing forensic, forensic-psychiatric, forensic-toxicological, and toxicological examinations, as well as those referred by the authorized state body for additional medical examinations.
Required Documents
To receive medical care under the state procurement program, you must present:
- Passport or identification card,
- Document confirming your status,
- Medical referral
Procedure and Timing of Service Provision
To benefit from the support program, you must visit your local doctor, who will prescribe necessary examinations and specialist consultations, and, if needed, refer you to receive the appropriate services.
