Obtain a License for Implementing a Primary Vocational Education Program

To implement a primary vocational education program, a legal entity must obtain a license from the Ministry of Education, Science, Culture, and Sports of Armenia. Applications for a license can be submitted to the ministry either by email or in person.

Legal entities that meet the licensing requirements must submit the required documents to one of the following email addresses:


Requirements

To obtain a license for a primary vocational education program, the legal entity must meet several mandatory requirements related to:

  • The teaching, lecturing, and vocational training staff
  • Availability of educational facilities and laboratory infrastructure
  • Educational and methodological resources
  • Library and information systems
  • Contracts with sector-specific base institutions for practical training


Required Documents

The following documents must be submitted to one of the email addresses listed above:

  • Application for obtaining a license
  • A copy of the ownership, lease, or free-use registration certificate for the premises where the program will be run, in line with the designated purpose for public buildings
  • Information on the teaching, lecturing, and vocational training staff
  • Information on the premises used for the program
  • Information on library and information resources supporting the educational process
  • Information on practical training provision, and for medical programs, information on clinical practice availability
  • Educational program curricula for different professions and a list of subject-specific programs
  • Regulations for student admission, transfer, relocation, and final certification (examinations)

Payment Amount and Procedure

The state fee for licensing is 30,000 AMD. This must be paid within 5 working days after receiving the approval notification.

Payment can be made through:

  • E-payments system
  • Bank transfer to the state budget account: 900005160420.
    In the "Purpose of Payment" field, please specify: "For obtaining a license."


Delivery Period and Procedure

within 23 working days from the date of application submission. The license is issued in a single copy and is valid indefinitely.

To collect the license, the applicant must visit the Ministry of Education, Science, Culture, and Sports of Armenia in person.
