Change the Bank for Pension or Benefit Payments

Pensioners and benefit recipients can change the bank through which they wish to receive their pension or benefit at any time.

It is possible to change the bank for payments of pensions, old-age allowances, survivor benefits, and disability benefits by submitting an online application.

You can apply for this service in person by booking an appointment in advance.

How to apply

To change the bank for your pension or benefit, after clicking the "Continue" button, you must:

  • Register on the website by filling in the required information, or log in via the "YesEm" national identification platform,
  • navigate to the "Online Applications for Pensions and Benefits" section,
  • select the field "Submit an application to choose a paying organization (bank)",
  • fill in the applicant's details,
  • select the bank,
  • create the online application.

Pensioners and benefit recipients may also benefit from a 20% cashback opportunity when changing banks, provided the chosen bank participates in the program.

Attention
Cashback does not apply to utility payments (gas, electricity, water, fixed and mobile phone services), online shopping, or non-cash loan repayments.

This program is exclusively available to citizens of the Republic of Armenia (pensioners and benefit recipients) who receive their payments through the program's partner banks.


Processing Time and Procedure

After submitting the application, the applicant will receive an email notification regarding the approval or rejection of the online request within 10 working days.

Upon approval, the paying bank will be updated, and the funds will be transferred monthly to the pensioner's or recipient's preferred bank account.

Cashback transfers will begin from the month following the submission of the online application.
