The special passport is exchanged for:

• In case of expiration
• In case of unfitness for use
• In case of loss

Required Documents

It is necessary to submit the following documents to the relevant Armenian embassy or consulate:

• A letter addressed to the head of the RA embassy or consulate with a request to obtain a new RA special passport

• Photocopies of the national passport with a photo, personal and validity data pages

• 2 photos measuring 35x45mm

• Photocopy of the lost or unusable special passport (if any)

• Receipt of state duty payment
  
  

Payment Amount and Procedure

A new special passport is provided free of charge in cases of extension or exchange of an unusable passport.

In case of loss, a special passport must be replaced with a payment of 75,000 drams. Payment must be made online.

Delivery Time and Procedure

The new special passport is issued within 1 month.

To obtain a passport, it is necessary to visit the embassy or consulate where the person applied to exchange the special passport.

Attention
The new special passport is issued with the same validity period as the lost or unusable passport.
