Apply for an Internship in Government Agencies

An intern is a person who undergoes practical work experience with an employer in order to gain professional skills. Typically, the intern works with the employer for a period of up to 2 months.

A person may hold an internship position in Armenian government agencies for a maximum duration of 1 year. To be included in the list of interns, one can apply either in person or by sending an application via email.

You can apply for this service by visiting the office in person.

To be included in the list of interns in government agencies, a person must participate in the rating test and physically apply to the Civil Service Office located at 89 Teryan Street, Yerevan, by submitting an application.

Eligibility Requirements

Individuals can apply for an internship in government agencies if they:

  • Graduated from a university or college no more than one year ago, and
  • Scored at least 30 points in the rating-based test to be included in the ranking list.

Required Documents

After the publication of the rating-based test results, applicants must submit an application to the Civil Service Office.

Issuance Procedure and Timeframe

  • Within 3 working days of submitting the application, the Civil Service Office sends an email to the applicant informing them of either inclusion in the list of interns or rejection of the application.
  • After reviewing the list of interns, a government agency with an available internship position selects a candidate whose profile matches the requirements of the internship program.

Additional Information

Inclusion in the list of interns is valid for 2 years. The start of the inclusion period is calculated from the day following the summary of results of all participants in the test.
