Who Can Apply?

Application Duration
15-20 minutes
To receive support for the treatment of malignant neoplasms, individuals must apply to their local polyclinic with documentation confirming the diagnosis.
About the Program
This government support program provides free medical services guaranteed by the state to individuals diagnosed with a malignant neoplasm, including:
- Specialized and hard-to-access laboratory and diagnostic imaging services
- Surgical treatment
- Radiation therapy, excluding radiation delivered via medical linear accelerators with a power of 15 MeV or higher
Eligibility Criteria
To benefit from this program, the applicant must:
- Be a citizen of the Republic of Armenia
- Have a confirmed diagnosis of a malignant neoplasm
Required Documents
Applicants must present:
- A valid identity document
- Official medical documentation confirming the malignant neoplasm (indicating the affected organ system)
Scope and Funding Conditions
Chemotherapy is co-financed by the state under the following conditions:
- Individuals registered in the socially vulnerable or special groups list receive annual support of 300,000 AMD, starting from their first chemotherapy session, within a year.
- Other citizens not included in these groups are eligible for annual support of 150,000 AMD, under the same conditions.
Radiation therapy using medical linear accelerators with power ≥15 MeV is also co-financed for all groups, except for the following beneficiaries who receive it fully free of charge, guaranteed by the state:
- Beneficiaries of the Family Benefit Program with a vulnerability score of 28.01 or higher
- Participants in the Great Patriotic War and equivalent categories
- Individuals residing in state-run nursing homes or temporary shelters
- Former political prisoners
- Participants in the Chernobyl disaster liquidation
- Survivors of human trafficking
- Individuals in custody, under arrest, or serving prison sentences
- Children under 18
- 18–23-year-olds from the group of children without parental care
The timing and conditions of support provision are determined by local polyclinics or relevant medical institutions.
Attention
If a person received all previous treatments at a medical institution in Yerevan and wishes to continue treatment in another region or community, this is possible only if:
- The selected institution accepts patients under the state order program for the specific condition
- The patient does not require radiation therapy, which is only available in Yerevan
