To receive the personal assistant service, a person with a disability or their legal representative must visit the regional center of the Unified Social Service and submit an application.

About the Program
The service is intended for individuals aged 15 and older who have severe or profound functional limitations due to mobility, visual, mental health, or intellectual issues (including moderate limitations in the case of intellectual disabilities).

Eligibility Requirements
Persons with disabilities aged 15 and older may benefit from the service if they are currently working or studying, or if they provide a written statement confirming that they will start working or studying within the next 3 months.

Required Documents
To access the service, the applicant should submit an application, and a document confirming the disability status issued by a medical organization.

Amount of Support
The cost of one hour of personal assistant service for persons with disabilities is 1,050 AMD, which is paid by the regional center of the Unified Social Service.

There are maximum monthly hour limits for the personal assistant service, depending on the degree of disability:

• 140 hours per month for individuals with profound functional limitations,
• 120 hours per month for those with severe functional limitations,
• 100 hours per month for those with moderate functional limitations.

Provision Timeline and Procedure
The service is provided within 5 working days after the submission of the application.
