Lease Agricultural and Food Sector Equipment
The program provides agricultural and food sector operators with equipment under affordable conditions through leasing.
It covers equipment for livestock farming, crop production, refrigeration, and other related activities.
About the Program
- A subsidy of 10% is provided for leasing in domestic currency and 6% for leasing in foreign currency.
- For operators in border communities receiving social support, the subsidy is 12% for leasing in domestic currency and 7% for leasing in foreign currency, provided the equipment is used in the same locations.
- For mobile or modular slaughterhouses in communities listed by regional governors of Armenia, the subsidy is 12% for leasing in domestic currency and 7% for leasing in foreign currency.
- For aquaculture operators, 50% of the 20% advance payment for equipment used in alternative water resource projects will be subsidized, up to 6 million AMD.
- For hydroponic green fodder production, 80% of the 20% advance payment will be subsidized, up to 4 million AMD.
- For mobile or modular slaughterhouses purchased before December 31, 2025, 80% of the 20% advance payment will be subsidized if the equipment is used in the settlements listed by regional governors.
- The leased equipment must be insured against damage and loss for the entire leasing period through a financial institution.
Requirements
The required documents vary based on the chosen bank or credit organization.
- Choose the equipment type, manufacturer, or supplier
- Apply to a participating bank or credit organization
- If approved, pay a 20% down payment and sign the leasing agreement

The required documents depend on the chosen financial institution.
Delivery Period and Procedure
The leasing agreement is for a period of up to 5 years.
Once the contract is signed, the financial institution will order the equipment and provide it to the applicant under the leasing agreement.
There is no maximum interest rate for the leases.
The grace period for paying the main lease amount is up to 3 months. Financial institutions may allow payment deferrals of up to 6 months per year upon request.
Attention:
The total value of leased equipment per lessee must not exceed 2,000 million AMD
