Receive Reimbursement for the Cost of Medication
Within the framework of the program, medication for specific social or special groups is provided with full or partial reimbursement.
To receive reimbursement for medication costs for specific social or special groups, it is necessary to visit the local polyclinic.
About the Program
Within the framework of the program, citizens belonging to certain social or special groups are provided medications in case of illness with full or partial reimbursement. Medications are provided based on the Essential Medicines List.
Eligibility Requirements
The following individuals are eligible for full reimbursement of medication costs:
- Persons with severe, moderate, or deep functional limitations,
- Children with disabilities (under 18 years old),
- Veterans of the Great Patriotic War and persons equated to them,
- Children without parental care and children with only one parent (under 18),
- Children from large families (with four or more minor children under 18),
- Family members of servicemen who died during the defense of Armenia or while performing official duties,
- Children (under 18) from families with disabled members,
- Children under 7 years old,
- Beneficiaries with a vulnerability score of 28.01 or higher registered in the family vulnerability assessment system,
- Persons affected by emergency situations, foreign state military actions, or terrorist attacks against the RA, or forcibly displaced persons from Nagorno-Karabakh,
- Individuals (volunteers or enlisted) injured during the war unleashed by the Republic of Azerbaijan in Artsakh on September 27, 2020,
- Persons held in penitentiary institutions (both detainees and convicted inmates).
The following individuals are eligible for partial reimbursement:
- Participants in the liquidation of the Chernobyl disaster,
- Repressed individuals,
- Non-working pensioners living alone,
- Families consisting only of non-working pensioners (including those with minor children in their care),
- Children (under 18) of single mothers.
Required Documents
To receive medication reimbursement for special or social groups, the following must be submitted:
- Passport or ID card,
- Prescription.
Amount of Support
In cases of partial reimbursement, medications are provided with a 50% discount.
Non-working pensioners receive medications with a 30% discount.
