Obtain a duplicate certificate of marriage, birth, acknowledgment of paternity, divorce, name change, or death
The following certificates' duplicates can be obtained online through this service:
- marriage,
- birth,
- acknowledgment of paternity,
- divorce,
- name change,
- death.
How to apply?
To obtain a duplicate certificate, after clicking the "Continue" button:
- complete the "YeSem" identification process,
- fill in the required information,
- make the payment (in certain cases, the service is free of charge; details are provided below).
Requirements
The following individuals may apply for a duplicate certificate:
- the person to whom the registration pertains;
- an interested party (in the event of a death);
- parents or legal representatives, if the person is incapacitated on the day the duplicate is issued;
- an authorized person (via a simple power of attorney);
- individuals aged 16–18 for their own birth certificate;
- parents or a community head for the birth certificate of an individual who has reached age 16 but does not possess an identification document.
Required documents and information
To apply, it is necessary to:
- provide the applicant's personal details,
- attach a scanned version of the identification document,
- provide the applicant's contact information.
The following must be attached to the application:
- a document verifying a change in data (in case of discrepancies);
- when applying through a representative: a power of attorney and a scanned copy of the grantor's passport;
- in cases of guardianship or trusteeship: the relevant legal decision;
- when applying for individuals over 16 without a passport: a document issued by the community head.
Payment amount and Porcedure
- To obtain a duplicate of a certificate issued before September 30, 2014, a fee of AMD 5,000 is required.
- For certificates issued after September 30, 2014, the duplicate is provided free of charge for the first request. For every subsequent request, a fee of AMD 5,000 must be paid.
- If Apostille certification is required, an additional fee of AMD 7,000 applies.

Processing time and Procedure
The duplicate certificate is sent to the applicant's email address within 3 working days.
