Starting September 1, 2025, in the case of a minor accident, drivers must remove their vehicles from the roadway within 20 minutes.

This regulation applies only to accidents involving two vehicles and aims to reduce traffic congestion in Yerevan and other cities.

If drivers fail to clear the road within 20 minutes, they will be fined 30,000 AMD.

This rule applies only when:

• There are no injuries and only property damage is involved,
• Both parties agree on who is at fault and fill out a mutual agreement form,
• The vehicles have no mechanical issues and are drivable.

To fill out a mutual agreement form, drivers must report the accident.
